Curriculum Enhancement
Pupil Ambassadors
Each year children from Year 5 and 6 are chosen to be Pupil Ambassadors. Children are selected through a recruitment process which involves completing an application form and being interviewed by Miss Leech and Miss Lord.
The children regularly meet with the Pupil Ambassadors from Prospect Vale Primary School, working collaboratively to organise events. At Christmas they produce their Ambassadors’ newsletter which has proved very popular!
The Ambassadors have represented our school at a variety of events including opening the new Sainsbury’s store in Cheadle.
PE and Games
We fund a a coach from PESportsHub to enhance our PE curriculum. Throughout the year, children in Year 1 – Year 6 have lessons with their teacher and our coach, Mr Guigan from PESportsHub to develop and improve their basic PE skills.
See our PE and Sports competition page and Sports Ambassador page for more information about physical activity at our school.
ART
Miss Brown, a freelance artist, regularly works with our Artisitc Action Team to produce work of the highest standard. Our Artistic Action Team are our Key Stage Two talented artists.
On occasion we work with another local school on joint projects where the children can share skills and ideas.
